Reading in Older Learners

Working with my studio Sleeping Giant, I illustrated and animated this series of animations for Welsh Government to share a series of tips for parents and carers to help their children develop a love of reading.

We wanted to engage students in the production of the animation, so we partnered with a primary school in Newport, Wales and challenged the students to help us create our storyboard frames. We asked them to draw their favourite activities they do with their parents, and used these scenes as inspiration for the animation.
